Awesome, how did the motor run? I bet with your added veneer on the hull it is a quieter ride through the water. The first time out I was suprised how much you can hear the water against the hull in a sheet plywood boat, I like the sound of the water I just wasnt expecting it. Anything suprising to you?

How did the trailer set up work out? Looks like a nice ramp there.

Great job, see you in less than 2 weeks! If your coming down 65 let me know, maybe we'll caravan if the timing works out.

Thanks everyone!!! It is such a great feeling to finally experience the build. Motor ran great, but I do have some tach and charging issues to correct. No show stoppers, though. I just need to make sure the battery gets charged at night. The motor starts instantly and seems to be performing as it should. The ride was smooth considering the chop and the wind this morning. Resetting the tilt pin took out any less than perfect steering and ride tendancies. No leaks and I am one happy boater. The noise from water was about what I expected. My sides are thicker, but the bottom is still 1/4" ply.

Video footage??? Rich shot a 15 second blurb on the camera, but I have no clue how to post it. HELP!!!

Roberta (wondering what to do tomorrow?? Laundry???   ) :D :D :D :D :D :D
