today I installed the brass drain sleeves. then I decided to clean up the shop, as it has been a real mess lately....about ready to turn it over....this sat. @ 9:00 am for coffee and donuts. then to turn it over at 9:30.....probably a 5 minute job....lets hope its not raining.

WELL...........today was the big flip day.........things went very well....I have to thank UPS PIRATE for helping as well as posting my pix.....along with several of my friends and neighbors...............and mother nature kept the rain away!!!!...now to tie up loose ends and head up to the G5..............Wayne aka (flordia boy)

nice job bruce! i'm still thinking about building the tug a long or the sheerwood queen but by looking at your so far,i think i'll go with the tug a long.nice job,i can't wait to build her, danzapp

richard.............I thought you disappeared.......what have you been doing...any progress??
....I'll be leaving either tomorrow or fri, and going to theG5 in tennessee........hoping to meet some other builders, and see what others have built.......wanted to take mine but chose not too....

Hey Wayne,

I guess I did sorta disappear from here, but I think I posted that with Summer coming I would be on my other boat. The plan was to head down the Erie and Hudson to New York, you may recall, but for various reasons, we went up the Rideau Canal this year.

Anyway, now that boating season is winding down and I'm home more, I resumed my work on the Tug last week. There's nothing to show, since it's all sanding and glassing, but it's coming along well again and I'll probably post a pic or two when I have the primer coat on the hull.

I'm just catching up in the forum and will be hard at work for the next 6-9 months. I'm looking forward to getting back to the build and following everyone else's amazing work too.

Richard...........since my last pix were posted, I have been mounting the bulwarks....got #6, and half of 7 mounted....if I don't leave tomorrow for the G5..I'll probably work in the am and get the other #7 mounted and start #8's.....good to hear from you....sounds like you had a busy summer...............W.
