argh. Doesn't look like I'll be dropping by after all. Got too much going on today. :(

Hopefully I'll catch the next one.

After getting home this week on time for a change, I was hoping to make it up there today. But, I picked up Kicked In The Head and it's now 1:06pm. So, it ain't happening. As for G6, if the group wants me to look at some dates at The Ridges Resort on Lake Chatuge, I will. I was wondering if June is too early. We could maybe do a back to back weekend with the ACBS group. The big thing we don't have on Chatuge is the opportunity for a river run unless it is in a kayak.

No,but it sure is a big and pretty lake to cruise and sight-see around.

The islands with the old graveyards are cool too!

I hope G6 is at Chatuge, I'll be there for sure. This fall I'm moving from Wyoming back to GA (somewhere close to Clayton,GA) so it'll be close enough that I'll not have any excuse to stay away.

If the group wants to have it at Chatuge, I would suggest an earlier date. This time of year, the water is down about 3ft. It also gets down into the 40s at night...I love it, but some may not.

Oh, and whoever took the picture of me being towed by the tubby...I'd sure like a copy of that!

The only picture I have is of Dave (not me) being towed by a tubby tug to my boat to let him use my swim platform ladder to get out after his "planned" drink in the water   PRICELESS

Great pictures, Chris and Bill.
Thanks for taking them and sharing.
Now, we need close-ups of the name tags so I can figure out who is who.
