Dave,

Sorry about your phone and the beating "Midnight Cry" took but she's a good boat. You might be refering to me, I picked you brain a lot, went out with you twice and live in south Florida. Thanks for the additional info.

Here are a few pics I took at the Gathering.

Actually Fred - she didn't take a beating. Just took on a lot of water. At one point, water was a foot deep in her. I thought my pumps were never going to stop working. But I guarantee you that there is no sawdust in any corner now. It is all washed away

Just cause you didn't hear it it FL doesn't mean it wasn't there. IT blasted several times last weekend I had em jumpin up and down the docks, it even began the boat race after the builders got em done...The way that boat sank so quickly makes me wonder if perhaps I hit it broadsides. Come by next year and I might let you fire it Pirate

It was my pleasure to meet you all guys and gals. Special thanks to Bill and Lauren for nice cabin room.

There is my short trip write up on friendly website. Fred, I "stole" one of your pictures. I also "converted" two people from aluminum to mahogany side :D

Here's my addition to the rides pictures. This is a composite of videos taken by different people: Ken Schott and Dwain "Skiiiiiiiiii Kiiiiiiiiiiing" Colton. Thanks to Paul Kane and his Hot Rod for being the videography platform in the last bit.

SIZE IS REALITIVE!

A few people at G5 commented about the size of my True Grit. I guess if judged only by size I was a big dog at The Gathering. BUT on Sunday we made the run up to Chattanooga and as you can see the "big dog" became a pup. That's us third from the right -

Here are a few more Photos of Chattanooga and the trip.

First - the Delta Queen - Bob and Dwain stayed there Monday night.

Image

The Hunter Art Museum sitting on the bluff

Image

What looked like a brand new boat moored at the dock. Although it was as slick as a fiberglass boat I believe it was steel - hence the name - IRONY

Image

Another shot of the busy dock from the Walnut Street Bridge

Image

And then just some views of the river along the way. This is a truly beautiful river and the photos just don't do it justice

Great photos Ray - THAT is the river I remember from last year. Calm and smooth as glass. Such was not the case for the River Run this year.
