My boat is a homemade flatbottom 4 feet wide 14 1/2 feet long, and it weighs 182 pounds! My outboard is a 30hp mercury sea pro with a 10x17 blackmax mercury prop. My cavitation plate is 1 inch above the bottom of the boat. At full throttle my boats GPS's at 52 mph. But my motor is on the rev limiter. I have been looking at many different style props but im still confused about them all because all i ever used was the stock mercury blackmax prop. If you're on the rev limiter, you are underpropped. Based upon the nice top speed you're getting, i'd guess you might already have the prop you want. It can be modified. It can be repitched and then cupped. Talk to a good prop man and get his advice. He'll need to know the RPM you're getting and should be willing to work with you to repitch/cup your prop till your RPM is in the high end of the peak torque/HP curve. Repitching and cupping can add 3-4" of pitch to an unmodified prop--enough to bring your RPM down 500-600 RPM--and bring your speed up.

I'm guessing you'll end up going with a custom built or reworked prop. The highest pitch I can find for your outboard is a 10x17, which you already have. I'll do some digging, I have about a hundred or so websites saved just in regards to outboard parts maybe I get lucky
