Now that my Zip is finished...I am not happy with the look of my instrument panel.

Looking for ideas, suggestions and photos of others.

I replaced the RPM with a Honda RPM and the hole is a little big now.

My thought is to cover the entire instrument cluster with an oval shaped, hammered or antique looking metal or to make something from wood to change the shape of instrument cluster. Problem is...I am not good with ideas or design.

I only have three instruments and willing to change them for something nicer. Rpm, volt, fuel.

All ideas welcome. Here is what I have now.

Thanks,

Ted

Ted, you could cut an oval sort of shape (tri-angle with flat on bottom and rounded corners) in the dash where the gauges were, then make a panel with the gauges ti fit against the backside in a contrasting shade of stain

Street rod suppliers have aluminum gauge clusters, but usually in five hole config

Here's an example of a hot rod/street rod gauge panel:

switch plates:

Just some ides!!
