Retro - Looks soooooooooooo good but there is something seriously wrong.

Something tells me that not only then engine has to be in water for everything to work right.

The windsheild I have, I bought the brackets (castings) from that company in Erie, PA. Cant remember the name. I ve been playing with some plexiglass. Ill post a video on the windsheild soon. I not sure bout this windsheild, I may have to make the bracket myself, we'll see.

I need 28 feet of rubrail. Not sure what to get, I havent really looked into it yet, but I need to, because the boat took a few hits last season. I cant do a whole season with out rubrail.
I launched the boat August 2nd, so I only used it for 10 weeks. This upcoming season will be more than double that.

I picked up a mark 55 with all my electric start components, Randy is gonna make me an adapter bracket so I can mount it. I got the correct flywheel, starter, stator, rectifier, choke solenoid and internal wiring harness. The motor was stuck, but it was the lower unit, I did a compression check and I have 120psi in all cylinders. See video.

I figure I have a good powerhead. I ve got no spark, but a new belt, points and condenser are on there way. I have a lower unit lined up, but due to a $800 root canal last week, I have to wait on the lower unit till January. I figure the motor is good, so I still need a flywheel and starter for one of my marks, if anyone can help me out.

Ches T - Go for the white sides, it's a great look and alot less work than a bright finish.

I used Protekto automotive trim for the rubrail and have been pretty pleased with it so far. Did the whole boat for less than 6' of stainless.
