Bought this "stuck" motor for the starter and flywheel. Turned out the lower unit was stuck. I cleaned it up a little and fired it up today. Here's my video.

Thanks for watching,

Get it adjusted /cleaned out and another lower unit, you'll have a spare motor! Or one for the next build.....a twin engine Malahini???? :?:   :D :D :D

Oh yeah, for sure, Randys got a lower unit for me and it's go time. I may do this one up the right way. My immediate plans are to get this motor presentable and reliable. Then tuck it away for a back up for my Glen-l. Then I must find a wood, or more than likely, an aluminum, 12 to 14 ft row boat, and trim it out with a long deck and a single cockpit for the '56 johnson I ran last season.

If I can get those things done by end of march, I 'll start looking to build or buy a hull for my current mark 55 project. I would like to have at least 2, hopefully 3 of these runabout boats at the ready for next season, for my kids and/or friends to use. That includes all my Glen-l forum friends, if any of you should happen to make it to the NYC area this boating season.
I know everybody thinks they live in the best part of the country, and no doubt we all do. But this is paradise!

Not sure guys, but his definition of "paradise" may have to do with the fact he's playing with his toys while the Mrs. is hauling out the garbage!
