) what you call the usually bronze fittings that go thru the topsides for the lines when docking ( sort of a fairlead ). At the anchor a similar fitting may be a hawspipe.
That's what i call a hawspipe for the anchor rode. These go thru the topsides, with a flange on the outsidt that is sleeved to go thru the hull and mates with a plate on the inside. They are usually oval shaped. I saw some in a catalogue some where and just can't find them.
. They are called a "hawser pipe". Who knew? Gonna try to make my own. Pics to follow ( I hope )
