Hello,

I'm interested in building 2 passenger outboard boat. So far I like TNT best. My only question is, being 200lbs  5'11'' and girlfriend is 5'4'' and 120lbs..do you guys think that both of us will comfortable fit in TNT?

Thanks in advance and...I'm sure that I will have more questions soon.

I think the TNT would work BUT I would look at the BULLET. The Bullet is wider, only 15 lbs heaver and will take up to a 40 hp motor. Also for 320 lbs of passengers, the 40 hp motor would be a better power plant. I have the plans for the TNT and it has a flat bottom not a Vee Bottom the Bullet has a true Vee bottom not as much as I would like, but it should give a decent ride. I currently have a 13 foot flat bottom boat that is a fun ride but it is a rough ride in moderate chop.

A guy who goes by BulldogBoater has a jet Squirt and he is 6' 2". I think you'll fit fine.

Sounds good. I think I will build the TNT then. I just love the way it looks...now I need to find some good but relatively inexpensive wood within 300miles from Chicago, IL

You can also extend the TNT by a foot to give yourself a little more interior room.

Check here for the lumber: http://www.glen-l.com/resources/lumber- ... rs.html#IL

I built a Squirt and it's fine. It's only a little snug because I put in a tilt wheel.

If you really want some room, do what I did next. Build a Stiletto. :D

On the other hand, you could just build a Minimax and leave everyone on the dock, :D :D :D
