Hi all, started a Glen L 13 build in August. Got frames done, all attached to form. Still need to attach chine logs/shear clamps then onto the fairing step. Waiting on the temps to get warmer for the adhesives. Unheated garage in Utah in winter is not a good place to use epoxy! Expect about early summer to launch.

Frames are white oak, some mahogany trim on centerboard case, tiller, etc. Roughed out CB, rudder, tiller and pieces for square plywood mast per planes. Meranti plywood for transom, CB case, rudder and CB. Cyprus for chine logs and shear clamps. Sitka spruce for mast. Local hardwood store is great source. Did a birds mouth construction for boom with hemlock 1/2" by 3/4" stock from local big box store. Finished size is 2 1/2 inch diameter, 5 1/4 pounds with all coatings and hardware (blocks and goose neck) installed. That's pretty light, I think.

Bought all sailing hardware and fastening kit from Glen L. About 100 hours touch labor into it. Tracking all data for costs and times so I will post when complete along with pics. I am retired materials engineer and am experienced with composite materials. Really fun to work with MAS and West epoxies rather than 200 $/lb aerospace materials!

Great fun so far. Glen L has been great resource, glad I found you.

BTW, buckshot is great ambassador.
