Dave,
I come with 3 bodyguards too.

Remember them. Or do I need to refresh your memory?

The transom and side walls are glued in place. I cut the width of the well based on the head of the motor and not the foot.

So, I might need to fill the hull back in later and add new sides. I won't know until she floats. But, no problem I saved the cut out.

I built it I can fix it.

As of now I have room for twin outboards.

YOu didn't follow directions back on the last page.

Fix it now, on both sections, bottom and stern. Up the stern you can just add doublers or small frame like pieces to glue the pieces even laminating thinner veneers to make that shape. You can even create small boxes for some flotation glassed inside of course when you close some of the hole up and even create storage with seating in the corners closing up the curved section.

We shifted gears and started working on the trailer. It was my brother-n-laws Daddy's trailer. That I have had for about 15 years. I wish I had taken a before picture.

It is a Wesco galvanized trailer that had painted rims and the bunks were rotten. New tires and rims, new bunks and carpet.

I see new rollers in the future.
As far as the Pug, the deck is sealed.

[warning get a pot of coffee and a chair]
Actually the fat section away from the well transom area, or the scallops may restrict the ability for trim up for shallow watyer if applicable when the engine is running. Of course the engine does not have a power trim on it. So check the turning radius in the midrange locking mechanism which I think those style engines and hp have and see if the cavitation plate hits in the hardover position. I just cut the area back until it clears. Also 1/4" hanging out that far without any knee or additional panel may not be that rigid even with glass. If you plan on just one piece, redo it with 3/4". Remember you have forces in both direction in this add on. At least take your grinder and cut back into the bottom panel and do a half lap, a type of scarf and carry the loading back into the bottom. Of course if you also are adding back any boxes in the sides along the well outside pieces you may also be fine for the largest section there. [alot of mess to wade through there, for a simple question]
