I may finally be playing with a full deck, though I'm sure there are some out there that would question as to whether that's possible.

Did a marathon for the last five days and now have the full sub deck on. Time to regroup and start making the finished deck slats, which will be along the lines of the sample laid out on the deck.

Actually sat down with a cold one and felt very happy to have come this far and see some light at the end of the tunnel.

The rub rail, though far from perfect, turned out about as well as I could have hoped for, it's 3/16" proud of the sub deck to allow for the 3/16" slats to follow.

Bloodwood and White Oak. White Oak strips likely to be 2" wide with 1/4 " wide strips of the bloodwood. The rub rail is Bloodwood as well.
