i'm Just one bloke in a shed fergal. use mostly hand tools that are as old as time. Though i Have stooped to using a plunge router for some things.

I don't have regular access to a digital camera, still stuck in the film age for the most part. But i'll put some images up when i can.

Hey Time.

My name is Gavin, live in Kalg W.A. - for whatever reasons cannot fathom how to send you a response by pm - interested in your cracker box - how much prepared to spend would depend on how far you have gone - the objective to look at the crackerbox was to use on lakes around Kalg as there is little rainfall here so the boat needs to be as light as possible - preferably an engine has not been purchased so as to explore not using a chevy / soft clutch 350kg but preferably a ecotec and f43 (? i think 8 degree / 5 degree FNR transmission) total weight of 175 kgs. Building a trailer poses no difficulty for me and could easily be made before a trip to pick up boat.

How far have you gone and how much were you thinking? if you pm me your email or mobile number I can phone you / email you, alternatively I will have another look and how to reply to PM's (positive it isnt that hard). Nice to hear from you, Adelaide is good given the distance / freight cost to ship boat from where you are to Kalg W.A.

Hope you are interested in selling - alternatively if your thoughts were on finding the value of your efforts I haver attached a nice link or two for you

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/timber-boat- ... 256ba7e8fd

http://www.cawpba.com/CAWPBA/for%20sale.htm

Alternatively - you work very quickly maybe you might be interested in me commissioning you to build a Tiny Mite - which is lighter and would fit inside the small shed that is beneath house - either way it is sounding win win for both of us.

Kind Regards

Gavin

Keep up the good/quick work.

Thanks fergal. It's a quick and dirty cracker box, total build time to build entire boat and paint is 115 working hours. hopefully less than 50 for installing all the hardware and engine.

Tool list is very very small too.

Assorted chisels
Hand saws
jig saw
plunge router
sockets and drivers
hand drill
hammer
wood mallet
drop saw
28 beers
4 bottles of wine
1/4 bottle scotch

1/2 full swear jar.

thats about it.
