I'm thinking of adding a section to the Glen-L website for posting video interviews of our builders . . .

What questions would you like to see addressed in these interviews?

Here are some potential questions that I've come up with, so far:

1. What made you decide to choose a Glen-L design?
2. How has/have your family/friends/neighbors reacted/helped/enjoyed the building process (and the completed boat, if finished)?
3. Did you require any help? If so, where did you find it?
4. Describe your feelings about the process, from selecting your design through the building process to completion.
5. How did you get interested in building your own boat?

I hope you'll all give us a little input so that we can provide you with somthing you'll find both interesting and informative.

Hi John When I go to shows I get ask #1 How long did it take?

Also:
How much help was posting your questions on the Forum?
What did you learn, that you did not know or thought of aforehand, when you visited the Forum?
Were you able to buy or borrow what you might have needed from Forum members?
Were you able to make small (or Large) alterations to the Glen-l design?
Was the Site helpful in that effort?
Why did you deviate from the plans?
Did your idea work?
Should you have stayed with the Plan?

Looking back, what sticks out in your mind as "right", "wrong" etc with the Plan, the idea, the construction and finally that last piece in place, the usage of the boat?

The hardest question of all.....when is it "DONE"?
What's it look like when it's completely finished?

To look at it or use it?
I have known guys who just couldn't resist a little 'sea trial' when it was obviously a work in progress. And that's about as far as the Work and Progress went!

I wish I had pictures of some of my old boats.

I'm scared to put mine on the water until it's done for just that reason.

I think it was talking myself into opening the Garage doors where the project was still waiting for me

I'm bad at procrastinating.
If I had a project in mind, like a big boat, I'd have to have all the pieces and process's ready to snap in!
Make it quick and I want to see some progress in a hurry and every time I open those doors!.

I agree with Bob Wilson on this one. It would be at the top of my list.
