This ready for restoration runabout gem sat in a garage for 30 years.
double cockpits
Built around 1953 near Saugerties NY.

The shape of the hull is similar to an old plan from the late 40s or early 50s called the Arrow. I can't be sure.
It was 13ft long and, at the time, loosely rated up to 33HP. There was no formal rating system then.

You dont mention the length. My father built a kit boat from Chris Craft that was 14 ft with dual cockpit that looked very similiar to what you are showing. His was built in Tonawanda, NY around 1950's.

What length is your boat? I see the numbers, can you go to the DMV for the history?

Thanks for that... it is pretty close in design but the Transom on yours is def. more curved than the one I have here. Appreciate the info and the leads for sure.

There was no name for the kit. My dad ordered it from a dealer in North Tonawanda. Chris Craft only offered it as a kit and not factory built. I tried to find some history about the design, but never came up with anything.
