Hi Folks
I'm oldish, can't drive anymore, it's said I'm a hazard. Nearest grocery and licker store is 6 miles down the lake. I have a 12 speed highway bike that works fine in decent weather, paved highway. Pedal speed to town and back is about 45 minutes if I chat along the way.
I have a 16 foot fiberglass canoe, I can paddle it to town and back in about an hour and a half if I fish, depends on wind, good kokanee fishing along the way and a moose and mowitch or two a year on the other side. But the lake is froze from about dec 1, to about april 15, about 5 ish months. Good ice fishing though.
So I got it in my mind to buy an electric motor that I can use on the bike and the canoe. AND, heh heh, rig up either the bike or the canoe to travel over the lake ice, to check my set lines and shrimp traps. I don't want much do I?
If it would work my rototiller for the garden I'd be set for life. Oh, a setup that would work the bike on railroad tracks would get me to the big shity for my twice yearly entertainment as well.
So, pleased to make your aquaintance, folks.
