Can anyone tell me the preferred method or stuffing box required for the installation of a trolling motor shaft up through the flat bottom of a Tubby Tug? My plan is to create a hidden motor unit with the controls up front. With a planned rounded stern there's a need to create an interior compartment for the shaft to come up into. It's been done several times, but I cannot tell from the photos how it was actually accomplished. Thank you.
