I hate to say this but i caught a mistake ! frame 7 is out of line and i had the bottom battons glued down.now im trying to get it right .i moved it a bit and eyeballed it about 50 times and i think ill go with it. it was to far out on one side,maybe a half inch.others are fine. cant believe i did that :!: :oops:

Trim down the outside one and add a shim to the other& don't tell anyone!! :wink:

Too late i already cut though the glue line and moved it .im going to put :!: the chine on temp. and if its got a fair curve ill go forward. cant see how i did that !! chine on both sides of course !!!!!!

I did much worse, all of my frames where out by about 5mm on one side. Don't panic, cut it off, fix it up and move forward.

If I am anything to go by, it won't be the last time you screw up, wood is particularly forgiving that way, pretty much anything you mess up you can fix with a bit of epoxy

Thanks ,it looks good now and im just eye balling it. its hard to measure because the battans are on. so i was measureing from the center of middle bottom battan and toward the outer edge of the frame. :?: :idea:

Svenole,

Thickened epoxy will cover a multitude of sins. I think I have about 7 shims on my chinelog, but as far aong as I am on the Little hunk, NOBODY will ever know but me.

Keep plugging, It is good to hear that you are back in production again!
