Hi All,
I am thinking of building a Glen-L boat. I just bought plans for a Rampage and am reviewing them. I currently own a 1973 Flying Dutchman. Over the years I have restored/replaced just about everything on the boat (deck, running rigging, standing rigging, foils, etc.). So, I thought I would try building a go-fast powerboat since I already have a go-fast sailboat. Right now I am looking to get opinions on what powerplant to use for the Rampage with the jet option.

Academic response: power loss vs. not bending the prop when beaching or in shallow water.
Emotional response: jets are so cool. especially with jet-avator and snap turns... :D
