Squirt plans arrived yesterday, I am so excited after what seems like a year researching this site. Wanted to build the Bandido, but after evaluating my skills and reading all the posts, figured I better start small first and get the hang of it. I was so excited I left Minnesota early and deadheaded home. At least I put 1 car on the truck to pay for fuel. Gonna start getting materials this wknd. Can't wait! - Scott T

Yeah Retroman, will have to hustle, at least I have my 22' plastic fantastic to play on for now, lol I have started to look for used engine, but haven't really determined what kind yet. Any suggestions? I'm open for other's ideas here on power and what and what not to look for. I'm lucky that I have a mobile atm machine parked in the driveway, all I gotta do is get in it and I get to keep what's left after the fuel co. and gov't get their cut. - Scott T

Very exciting times for a new builder and welcome to the Glen L Family of builders!! Any good used motor based on the crafts requirements, just be mindfull of weight and shaft length. The newer 4 strokes will be heavier. Shaft length will determine your transom height.

Thanks for the input folks, I had the plans on the table looking at where to start and I showed the family all the cool pics of the squirt on here, now they all want one. Looks like I'm going to be busy. LOL
