I can't remember....maybe 8-10" ???

The ones on my skiff are 8 3/4"

Here's a not very good pic

I also had a 3/4" thick by approx 2" wide brace that ran from the front to back of the seat, and a support that went down to the keel

Try sitting on a board and see what feels comfy....well sort of comfy!!!

The seats and coamings have been stained and CPES started.
Warren, I ended up going with 9 1/4" wide seats.

Note: I replaced the pictures with ones off of my camera, instead of my cell phone.

That'll work....doesn't really matter as long as they aren't TOO big or TOO small.

We were able to apply 4 coats of Interlux VC Performance bottom paint tonight. This is my first time using marine primer and bottom paint. I was a little concerned at first, but after carefully following directions, I'm pleased with how both turned out. :D :D :D We rolled and tipped both.

The Interlux VC bottom paint is done and there are now 2 coats of Interlux performance in Oyster White  on the sides. I hope I don't regret choosing that color.   I hope two coats are enough, I will know tomorrow once it is dry. :D

My color selection for the sides was a toss up between the Oyster White and Pirate Black.  I hope I picked the lesser of the two evils.  :D

Chip - You are becoming a regular pro at all of this. Have you decided to get out of the GSR business and into boatbuilding :D
