the "Grizzly Grip" makes a real difference....where I put it on the inside of the bulwarks....its almost impossible to see the edges of the cloth. it really blends everything in....it looks like it was sprayed
I'm quite pleased with the results...... preparation is the key!!! the areas not painted will be painted after I get all the floor supports, and the tanks and cabinets laid out....
I have to go north for a couple of weeks...so it should be fully cured....(as if its not already)
I'll be in myrtle beach for a week...relaxing on the ocean !!!
when we return I'll finish up the bilge pumps/ battery trays/battery wiring...and maybe hang the motor.....then re-assemble the cabin framing.....

Wayne,
Been reading my plans, now I'm more confused, but going to purchase floor lumber. I forgot what thickness and kind you used.
E-Mail your number again please, Thanks
Jack

I was in upstate ny last week...picked up a bunch of old oak..baseboard/window mouldings that I can clean up and use to make my rub rails, and cabin trim.....between the oak I got while there in December....and this trip I should have plenty....my next project is to build a steam box...to steam it to bend around the stern.....I'll get that started next week, along with some basic wiring and plumbing before installing the rear sole.....W.

I got power wires run thru the chase tube, along with stern lite power and bilge power wires. now starting to tie wires together as needed/where needed....tomorrow I will figure out balance of floor and fuel and water tank locations.....I'm not trying to rush things...but am getting excited, as every day it looks more and more like a real boat.......!!!

here is a little bit of info for those out there building the tugg-along.........when you build your floors for the inside in the cabin.....you have to cut shims to fill the gap between the floor panels, and the longitudal reinforcements.....you want the floor to be level.....as there is a natural curve to the bottom of the boat....so this has to be compensated for..........Wayne

today I managed to finalize my floors in the cabin...and the location of the water tank and fuel tank....I picked up a small refrig..so that goes on the port side opposite the porta potty....I re-installed the cabin sides today....so have to square up and level everything...then add the roof section, and trunk cabin roof......before I put the roof on I will frame it up for a fantastic vent...and install the roofing/cloth epoxy...as it will be easier to do on my work table rather than up in the air....to be continued....Wayne.
