Hello, from Oxford, Ga. My name is Dave Savage, I'm in the material gathering stage presently. I am going to be building the Kingfisher center console which i am going to stretch to 19ft. I have built a couple of small dories, but this will be my first major undertaking. I have already acquired most of the mahogany for the frames and reduced it to the correct widths and lengths for the frame members. Now it's time to clean out the shop!

You're not the Dave Savage that I know from Pooled Inventory Management are you?

Well, I've worked at lots of places, but that one doesn't sound familiar. Glad to see there are lots more people building boats on this side of the country. Looks like I'll be able to get lots of help and advice through the forum. I'm going to try and learn how to post pics and keep a thread on the progress of my build. Just reading the journeys of others on their builds has already answered a couple of questions.
