I've decided to start building another boat after finishing my TNT. What I need is a larger, more roomy boat that can handle different waters. I have Lake Ontario which is quite rough at time and a few bays plus a nice calm canal that I like to travel. I'm looking to build one of these designs but cannot decide which.

What are the main differences? The console skiff has an arc bottom, will this help me handle a chop? The Wee Hunk has a flat bottom which is more stable when moving around the boat. I guess the question might be which waters will I be mostly boating on. Probably the canal and calmer waters on the bay.

I took a glance at the web page on those 2 hulls. I saw that CS is narrower than the Hunk, for about equal length.
My vote goes for the best beam/length ratio. i like the ride of a longer, leaner boat.
