Beautiful little boat. I love those old Mercuries as well. I've decided to go with an outboard on my boat and I think one of those babies would look real nice at the back end.
I have to agree that it must be difficult to wait while at the same time knowing that it will be really cold at planing speed. I am fortunate to live in an area where it's warm most of the year so the boating season will be longer.

You are one hearty fellow!!! The el dorado is pretty cool but where are you storing all these boats? Even more amazing is that your wife went with you each time. You might want to start looking for old boats with cabins!
