Cabin Available

Post by Bill Edmundson »

There will be a 3 BR floating Cabin opening up soon. Let me know and we can try to get you in it. We want to make sure a boat builder gets it.

We've just moved to the floating cabin. Now there is a 3 BR land cabin on the hill available.

Unbelievably, I think that I will actually be able to make this year's G. That's good considering I'm over a thousand miles away right now. But I'm heading back to Tennessee in a few days and it looks as though I will be able to clear my schedule for that weekend. If anyone's needing someone to share a room, I'll be more than happy to do my part.

I can do that! I'll just be a traveling minstrel with a guitar on my knee.

It's amazing how few places I go anymore WITHOUT that guitar. Over the summer, I had a break-in and had some minor stuff stolen ...nothing of any real consequence. But, amazingly, the guitar was still right where I'd left it. I wonder if it wasn't just some kids from the neighborhood. Wow, it scared me though. It's not the best, or the most expensive guitar in the world, but I bought that thing, used, for $200 in 1984. It's been with me so long it's like my only daughter.

Ok, actually I don't have a daughter ... OR a son. So yeah, that guitar is my only child. ROTFLOL

Glad you did not lose anything of consequence!! That guitar is very nice. I have a lot of sheet music loaded on a lap top. Hopefully the WIFI will be working at Hales Bar. I'll bring the hard copies just in case.

If Wi-Fi is not working I can set my phone up as a hot spot. Also, if you have a pickup that little PA system I have has an input jack.

Sounds Great, Bill!! We'll probably go unplugged this year. Maybe next year I'll bring the amp and other equipment. I'll just be bringing the Martin 12 this year.

I just brought up the PA because somebody saw it in the past. It's not great equipment by any means. But, it's there.
