Re: Building modified Everglade in Australia
Working on cabinet doors at the moment , plans to do ceiling were dashed by 2 week delivery on roof hatch turning into 2 months and still waiting.Cabinet doors are temporarily attached to camper side for easy application of clear polyurethane.

Re: Building modified Everglade in Australia
Fitted cabinet doors today, somewhat fiddly job at the best of times, not using nobs or cabinet handles as they have a tendency to hook into clothing in confined spaces, I just routed out finger holds during manufacture of doors.

Re: Building modified Everglade in Australia
Installed the Range-hood and assembled the next section of ceiling which holds the main roof vent, as always more pix and info on my website below.

Re: Building modified Everglade in Australia
Worked on the third section of the ceiling and placed the vent in just to see what it looks like.
There is just one section of the ceiling left , this will cover the shower & loo section which I keep
putting off to last because I'm yet to decide exactly how I'm going to go about it,
the easy straight forward options are expensive.
I'm also itching to cut out the window holes though I've made it a rule throughout the build not to cut
any holes until I have the item......learned that lesson many years ago.
I managed to pick up a set of jacks online through a private sale very cheap they will need some
modding but I'm happy to do that as the saving was substantial.
As a matter of interest It turns out that the USA is where I get most of my traffic, since the 9th of this month (I've only just started tracking this info)
I've had visitors from 12 states and the most queries come from the USA as well using the contact form on my website
so thanks guys.

Started on the 12v wiring by assembling the the switch/fuse box, these can be purchased ready to go but can be expensive if you want a digital Amp/Volt meter.

Richard,
Looking great. This is going to be a great camper for enjoying all that wonderful scenery you have down there.

Thank you Carl, my wife and I over the years have spent many many months traveling throughout Tasmania and still only scratched the surface, for a small Island it certainly does have a lot to offer to the traveler.

Re: Building modified Everglade in Australia
I'm planning to get out my real camera this Sunday together with the wide angle lens clean up the camper properly and take a few pictures, I'll upload a few here and the bulk on my website, I've used my iPhone 4 for a lot of the images so far and it has been a hit and miss affair as it has a problem focusing while my real camera is very good at focusing on a speck of dust somewhere between me and the intended target.
