Very nice. Love the Barrelback. My next boat if I ever build another one.

Congratulations Robert on the flip. Great milestone!

The barrelback is a beautiful design. Yours will be a head turner when you finally get it out there for others to see.

Robert

Great Job! You're going to have trouble getting her in the water with all the onlooker questions.

I was going to paint the bilge Chris Craft dark brown over the white epoxy, but I also kind of like the white, so I"m going to leave it for now and concentrate on other things. The white epoxy is super tough.

I've set all the extra deck beams and am fairing them into shape.
Done all the joining of members for the top deck, and now am steaming them for the various locations and sorting out how I'm actually
going to build this. I also now get to deal with all the little issues between port and starboard sides. Plans and members have lots of variations for the covering boards and details.
I'll post some more photos soon!

Dang, dang, dang, I wish we could see this boat on this end of the country. Any chance of trekkin your floating artwork over to the Gathering? Call Dwain Colton for some help.

I wish I had more time and funds, I'd come to Seattle for a visit. Really NICE work!!
Isn't it amazing!! The person that never has the fortitude to pursue his own dreams, will be the first to try and discourage you from pursuing yours.
