Re: Tahoe 23
I used the building form to build stairs. What a great decision! I climber the trailer in and out of the Tahoe a thousand times. it hurts now to think of it.

My wife decided the bathroom needed a renovation before Christmas and visitors so the final coat of paint has been delayed. I still hope to have it done before Christmas. As for the flip I have 2 1ton chain blocks and the rafters of the shed will take the load and rather fortunately are in exact the right position over the frames so I didn't have to move the shed at all
.The stairs seem a good idea and will use the building form. I was going to use a step-ladder but that would have been an accident in the making.

Well things never progress as quick as you think or want them to, but there you go. On a more positive note though, after a two and a half year waltz with cancer my last blood tests came back with my markers undetectable. I'm very happy with that although I may have a vested interest.
Yesterday I finally sprayed the bottom a flag blue. Thought it would be a little darker but yery happy with the result.I will not do the clear coats above the water line until I have finished the deck and do it all in one go. Maybe one more coat of epoxy above the waterline to protect it while I'm working on the deck and other fit outs. Will leave it a month seeing it is winter before the flip so the paint is good and hard. A couple of photos of the paint job. It will need a cut and polish to finish it off but already is pretty shiney.

Thank you to all the well wishers. I am very much looking forward to the flip and a new stage in the boat build.

Glad to hear you're doing better Tony. Congrats on the great looking boat hull. I know it's been a long time coming. You'll get there and then just wait til the rewards start rolling in.
