New builder from Texas

Postby TDI » Mon Apr 17, 2017 1:19 pm

Hello all,
I've never built a boat before but I've wanted to build a small boat for a while now and decided to go with the Squirt. Should make for a fun project, now lets see how it goes!

Squirt you say? Only one piece of advice from my Squirt building and driving experience, stretch it to 11 ft. That's it, have fun.

Thanks, I have planned to make it 11 ft. At this point I have the building form set up and most the frame members cut. Hopefully by next week the frames will be built and on the building form.

Im thinking I need to post a new thread under the small outboards section or maybe start a blog like others have done and post my pics there. Reading through others' blogs has been very helpful. But more time blogging means less time building!
