Aqua Cat build progress
My cat is coming along nicely. What a great project. I had some issues getting things line up on the strong back but when the frames were plumb and square the longitudinals went on good. I had to shim some to the notches after installation but so far I think it strong and symmetrical. The sheeting is going on now and things are fitting nicely.

Great job! It's fun to see this come together. Are you thinking of single or twin motors?

It will be fun to see this coming together.
Good advise to other builders, spend the time to get the forma and frames square, plumb and symmetrical. This will save a lot of time later and results in a solid boat.
Enjoy!

The build is looking great! I cant wait to see more. I was originally considering a malahini, but want a little more room and now thinking of the Hell Cat. I look forward to following your build.

I am still trying to choose which design to build. The Aqua Cat is at the top of the list. Also, I am brand new to building anything out of wood! Hopefully after I receive and review the plans I will be more confident.
Did you have any problems building the frames? I expect this will be critical.
