Same place I got the sound proofing insulation from for my motor box. They have a little of EVERYTHING.

Maiden Voyage was a success!
Went very smoothly without issues...I didn't finish several small items but wanted to get it in the water this year. Still need to add bumper rails in the back, Lettering on transom and hull, final sanding/polishing of hull and a few small interior items. So I have a few winter projects...

Overall she ran well. Got up to 50 mph before I backed off... Took a slalom ski behind it from the pop-up ski pylon and thankfully it didn't yank the pylon out and turn the boat into toothpicks!

I would like to thank you all for your help and support over this 5 year journey. Definitely could not have done the build without countless hours of pouring through forum posts and build galleries and getting tips advice and direction from all of you master builders.

Now time to get it in the water a few more times before the snow flies!

out of interest what prop and gear ratio did you finally choose?

Jenko-

I used the 1.23:1 Ratio. Right hand 4 blade 13.0 X 16.0 prop. I think this feels like the right prop. Good low end torque and tops out around 50 mph. I could probably change the pitch and gain some top end but I am happy with the balance
Bought the PCM engine and transmission assembled together from discount inboard boats in South Carolina. They were great to work with.
