When you use fiberglass tape such as 4" or 6", if your going to do multiple layers, do you wait between layers? Meaning do you let the first one dry and then apply the next tape over it?

Warren,

You can go to the next layer as soon as you finish the first. It actually is better. When you place the next layer while the resin is still "green" you get a chemical bond between layers. If you wait the bond is mechanical which is not as strong. Green is defined as being able to dent the surface with your finger nail.

I was wondering about green - although I have never fiberglassed, I didn't think the resin was green! :) Thanks, that makes sense on the layers bonding together which is what I want for strength.
