i saw the dimension somewhere and it isnt in the glen-l motor installation book. wrote it down but per usual can't find it now that i want it... am figuring the prop shaft length for a 14" prop. is it allow 5" of shaft beyond the strut :?:

I just measured mine.

I've got 6" between the end of the strut and the tip of the shaft.

With the prop on, that gives me about 2" between the shaft and the prop.

(All that being said... I am not yet convinced that I have my shaft fully seated in my coupler... the grub screws to not seem to be finding the keeper holes on the shaft... my shaft may need to be pounded in another half inch or so.)

All said... 5" should be good.

thanks Bruce i did read that you want one inch between the prop hub and the strut so 5" it is...
