Done all 3 of those, the first two are no big thing, epoxy and wood will fix the first, and a little money the second. The third one, man you're on your own there, and Lord help you when the bill comes in!Drew wrote:My 3 fears are..

2. Finding the beer fridge empty
3. My girlfriend when shes angry

Fear
Fears:
Tests (excluding the boat test)
Hitting rock with the Tuffy
Unable to repair
Under powering
What people should be feared of:
Stealing from me
Touching my Tuffy
Driving my Tuffy (though you'd need a key)
Stealing from my cottage
Asking to be able to drive the boat (Andrew N has)
Pet Peeves:
Poor dinner manners
People talking about work, while working the same job as them - out of work
People who have no idea what they're talking about (me sometimes)
Little or no knowledge about safety
The good side:
Need for speed
I love knowing all the attributes, statistics and specifications about something before I get into it, behind the wheel and starting it up

John K,
You just don't know how many times I've checked that!
I have the single lever control and had to change it inside. Hope I did it right!

1. Epoxy/catalyst ratio correct?
2. Did that drill just go through the hull?
3. I just heard a "crack"... I just heard a crack, I know it.
4. That piece of wood was NOT warped when I planed it... like 5 minutes ago.
5. Endless numbers of people, who sigh dramatically and ask, "Is it done YET???????"

The dreaded "CRACK"
I heard it one night. I was on the second layer of the hull. It was one an inner layer of the chine lamination. I didn't find it untill after the turn. All better now.
No. 5. God I'm tired of that one!

I did not know you could have them backwards. Just a joke to keep the thread alive. It has been fun reading comments from builders.Bill Edmundson wrote:John K,
