 Post subject: Cockpit Fasteners

I am getting ready to build my planked interior of a runabout cockpit, what is more appropriate, silicon bronze screws, or a chromed screw? I am assuming that these will be visable with a spaced regularity.

I used stainless steel screws, each with a stainless steel cup washer.

I don't have a close-up picture, but you can see them on the opposite side of the crash pad (hidem) picture I just posted in response to your other question.

word of caution,when using the SS finish washers & vinyl upholstery,be careful when you draw the screw up.

Too tight & it will cut into the vinyl
