Hi .., I live in B.C. CAN.
I have been a wooden lover for some time.
I recently bought a 1969 glen l thunderbolt with a 401 cid buick V8 [V Drive]
I would like to know how this boat was built,so I can restore it.
I do not have a computer at home so my responses will be slow.
If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum. A picture showing the boat and parts of the boat would be a big help. If you also know who built the boat, I bet that the home office could give you some background and feedback on the boat since its one of the few family run businesses in this country that still has the same family running it.

Welcome,

We'd love to see the before ,during and after pictures.

I'd contact Gayle at Glen_L and explain the situation you are in.

You may not need the patterns, and just maybe they will just sell you the plans without them.

Never hurts to ask!!

I have just a minute here..,
thanx for your responce
I will take some pictures and get someone that knows how to post them
The boat is complete except for the interior
The bottom has a hole in it from a high speed collision with a log
But I think the whole bottom should be replaced because of earlier substandard repairs
Thanks to all again, I am getting Internet at home soon and am looking forward to spending
time reading other people's posts. I am most interested wood boat building.
