Hello Everyone. Here are the pictures. Cut and paste the link below to your browser.

http://picasaweb.google.com/vupilot/GlenLGathering2009#

I took lots of video as well and will put that on youtube and add a link here.

Heather and I are back home, only took 7 hours. Many of you have a loooonng way to drive and we appreciate you bringing your boats for all to see and enjoy. Hope you are making your way back safely.

This was our first Gathering and we did not know what to expect. It was even better than I ever thought. LOTS of boats and lots of Great PEOPLE!!! What a great group, I cant say enough. It was great to meet everyone who has given advice to me over the forum the last 7 months.

Since we didnt know what to expect we were not much help logistics wise but we will come ready next year and the Zip will be in tow.

Thanks to Everyone for participating and all who made this event what it is. What a fantastic weekend.

The Canadians are taking over. Do I need to start singing, "If It's Snowbird Season, Why Can't We Shoot Them?!"

The canadians held their own in the area of bringing the beer for folks with that type of palate to enjoy. So be nice Bill. Remember they could not take the leftovers back across the border either. Thanks for the shots and the great banter.

Anxious to get back to the shop and get ready for next year.

Chris,

Thanks for posting the video and photos. It was nice meeting you and your wife. :D

I checked out your blog and it looks like you have a great build going. Can't wait to see it next year at the Gathering.

Were you ever tempted to jump in one of those sea planes???

Hello Everyone! Y'all made our first of many Gatherings majical! That kind of comraderie and like mindedness is extremely rare and welcome. Brenda and I are better people after having met and talked to you all. We were sad we couldn't see you on Sunday morning to say bye. We had family come to Guntersville from Huntsville and we visited with them for a while. Oh by the way...Great Pics!! Looking forward to the video. Thanks for the memories. Seeyanextyear
