This is my launch day,Feels like I'am going to do my driving test.lot's of people watching so something bound to go wrong,Did I put the bung in,will it fall apart,is the gas mix right, are there any loose wires to catch fire,You name it I worried about it.But in the end all went well and I became the proud owner of a classic looking boat and not a pile of scrap.Dreams can come true if you just put your mind to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2BrG3ji ... r_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoP_2AER ... r_embedded

Congrats on your launch. Boat looks great. I get nervous watching other people launch their boat. I can't imagine what state I will be in when I get there.

Fergal.

Congratulations. Your grin must be "ear to ear".

I particularly liked the part in the video when the boat slipped away from the trailer and a young voice exclaimed: "It's Floating!".

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing the video of your launch, its inspirational for new boat builders like me.

I am also building the Malahini, and it looks like you did a great job, really beautiful classic looking engine and from the video looks like she comes to a nice plain and rides pretty smooth considering the wake the other boat was making.

I have a question about THIS video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXxP8fKgwrs Did you get a little wet? It looks like the boat almost capsized.

BTW, are you folks in Ireland?

It was a bit wet but there was a reson for that. This was my back up boat and as it turned out he forgot to put his bung plug in making his wake alot deeper as the day went on. Originally Posted by Daffy Duck

Nice build and thanks for posting the video. There are not many better feelings than launch day - especially when they float!
