How about simple burgers and dogs for lunch on Saturday? If someone will bring the stuff I'll help cook it.

Bill, nice of you to volunteer to work on Saturday while the rest of us play, but I'm pretty sure lunch is already being taken care of...
That's correct, isn't it Gayle?

Okay--the Galley is very high. Any of you locals know of a good place nearby that will cater? Last year we had BBQ which I thought was very good. I'd rather have a recommendation from you guys than pull a name off Google... thanks!

Knights of Columbus, Rotory club, Church ladies groups often do fund raisers. Perhaps if we make a donation to their cause they will cater a lunch.

Just thinking out loud.

Bud Wilson lives right there in Jasper TN. He's a good friend with Gaffrig, Kieth. He is also in the liquor business and may be a source for kegs.

BTW most of us that "tap" into the kegs throw money into a kitty to cover that cost separately from any other cost covering donations

What should a guy who works for a major (predominately breakfast) restaurant company volunteer to bring or help with?

Waffle Bakers/and or waffle/pancake batter? Sausage? Cups, plates, napkins?? PM me and let me know how I can help.

Oh, I happened to have one of those extra. We have 3 for our hotels but not enough power circuitry so we keep one in storage.

But that would compete with our pancake experts.

Breakfast is the biggest challenge in my mind. I'm not a big breakfast eater. But, it is best put on fresh. So, there is very little pre-prep. Maybe batter. It has to be cooked on the spot.

I don't think we're near over booked in the a.m.

We had a Girl Scout Leader last year that was all over this. I can't remember who it was. (Sorry)
