Its Lake Nickajack. Hales Bar Marina. Just off I-24 Nortwest of Chattanooga just a few miles. http://halesbarmarina.com/
If you want a floating cabin get your reservation in quick there might be some left. Camp sites and cabins on land also available and of course hotels along the interstate too.

Some will make a whole week of it but officially the event is Friday-Sunday.

Any specific questions we can answer for you?

Bob

Look at the post "2010 Gathering Location! Lake Nickajack TN/Hales Bar Marina", in this section, page 1. We would really like you to come.

Come step up say hello and just jump in. I think you'll find more than you ever thought.

Bob - I bought my plans before G1 and almost went to it but did not go until G3. I regret not going to the first 2. The guys are great (gals too). The food is great. The comraderie is unreal. And then what you learn from just being around a bunch of like minded folks is worth the trip by itself.

If you can make it you will not regret. Boat or no boat. Makes no difference.

My wife and I had the best time at the '08 Gathering. Then we could not make it to '09. Now, we've discussed it. We've checked the calendar, and the the Murphys want to attend in '10. Anyone interested in sharing the cost of a cabin? We're planning Thursday thru Sunday.

I've got a floating cabin and I'll be alone. And we already know that we make good cabin sharers. :D

Don't ya'll have an electric Tubby Tug, as I remember?

Dave,

That's great! It'll be just like old times :D

And, yep, I'm sprucing up the "Toy Yot" and plan to have bring her along. Hopefully, the waves and wind won't be quite as high on L. Nickajack.

Hi

Dwain.....I thought you were interested in our extra room - we have a three bedroom floating cabin (so I'm told on the reservation). Soloboat and myself are in but Oyster had to drop out this year. I thought from previous posts you wanted our extra room. We have it booked for Friday and Saturday night because we won't arrive until Friday afternoon. I'm not sure how that works with your plans because it looks like you will arrive on Thursday?

Cheers

Mark C.
