We are now confirmed for the weekend of May 21, 2011 at Rock Lane Resort, Table Rock Lake, Branson, MO for our Spring Fling to warm up boats and knock out cobwebs to prepare for the BIG G5 at Hales Bar

Hotel rooms are $50 per night. Condos are available beginning 30 days from date of arrival. Therefore, you can check with the resort starting April 20 to see if a condo room has become available. They will be for the tourist season has not started so the owners of the condos will have them in the rental pool

Boat slips are an additional $16 per night.

We will have the pavilion from Friday to Sunday and will discuss other opportunities for us once I see the level of interest.

So start calling to set your reservation if you interest. I have blocked out 20 rooms for us as of now

Just made my reservation! Thanks for setting this up Dave!

FYI, you have to reserve your room then call 417-338-4433 for the boat slip (billed seperately).

So do I but there is a lot of land between Eufaula and Table Rock! :lol:

A = my dock
B = your dock

Blue line = trouble for navigating from a land locked lake

Looks like we'll be bringing another boat (60 year old Svenson Chum) and at least two more couples as well. I'll reserve the rooms after the first of the year to make sure we are going to hit deadlines on the resto project.

Side note: The CC engine for the resto project looks good. Had a little rust on some the cylinders with open/partially open valves from sitting for 6 years but had just been rebuilt (it still had assembly grease on it). We should be ready to fire it up in a few weeks.

Man this is gonna be fun!!!!!

I am trying to work up an agenda for us with maybe some "special" local flavor involved.

Stay tuned

Warren, that's my plan just as soon as I can get back to the borrowed shop space in Skiatook.

Dave...local flair 'eh? Looking forward to it!

You know, a man just had got to do what a man has to do. But for now it is not necessary, Gertrude woke up from her long summer nap. There is fear in these hills.

We have a men's dinner here is a couple of weeks and the main course is a WHOLE hog (including apple). We do it right.

(......hmmmmm? will my boat be done by then??) If so, this mini-gathering may be fun. Its about 10 hours for me. I guess i'll re-evaluate in March or April to see where i'm at on my boat.
