Thought I'd be the first to post. Really nice work.

Now that I've seen part of the plans and can compare, it's clear that the additional 2 feet on the 18' is allocated to deck space. The wheel houses on both are the same size. The 16' has a very small aft deck, so I think you'll appreciate the additional space.

You mentioned that you're doing something different with your cabin. What are you plans?

Have a great time in the keys and see you back after.

Richard

Doesn't look like much to me.

Last time I was on Islamorada was escorting a bunch of scouts to the sea base. I was on crutches with a broken ankle but still went snorkeling, sailing and other scout stuff. Great place with a lot of good memories.

I've not spent time there....just buzzing through to get to the bottom,Big Pine or Marathon.

I have spent time on Key Largo, and will spend a week there (Key Largo) on March Spring Break

The tug will be cool in those areas....esp on Fla Bay side

She's taking shape. You'll be stitching soon.

You won't need the form #3 when you're wiring the sides to the bottom. I put mine in after I was done stitching, but before I started filleting. You might find the form a bit in the way when you're attaching the sides, but it certainly isn't a bad thing.

richard.............thanks for the suggestion.... I will be stiching the sides on in approx 8-10 days....this project is taking a little vacation to the fl. keys first !!!! I'm basicly all ready to start....so when I get back....LOok out......today I was working on some small details/clean-up...and started to design/fabricate an actual stem for the front....we'll see if I can make it work...I feel the front could use a little extra support.....so we'll see....later

Wayne,
Looking good!!! :D I'm beginning to wonder if you and Richard aren't the same person.  Well, since cold weather has slowed his work down you are now in the hot-seat. With your climate I see no reason why you shouldn't be finish by, say February. Thanks for the update.

Nicely done Wayne,

She looks great. You've gone three dimensional now and it only gets better from here.
