Travis...
No, No, No!!!! Go to the Home Depot, and buy one of those 50 dollar heaters, and they work great! I am in Ct., where the temp gets to below freezing, and that thing works great! Keep building, or perfecting whatever you can!!! Your neatness, to shop and build are very admirable!

Looking really good.

How long do you have to wait for the spring thaw?

Great looking build.
Did you remember to measure to make sure it will fit out the door?

Looks great Travis!

I second the suggestion of the 50$ 1500watt infrared heaters. One should raise your temp about 20 degrees in your shop after about an hour. I had two going 8 hours/3 days a week last year and didnt notice it on my elec bill.

Im sure it fits out the door tipped on its side, eh

Love the power choice!
Build looks great too.....coming right along

Do they still have the Quake on the lake?

They raced at Lake Oxford when I lived there, then later up by Flint.....was it Holloway Reservoir or something?

That motor is AWESOME!!! I tried to find one like that. At the time, the only thing available that ran was 2500 bucks. Too much over my budget. I needed to make a choice so I knew what height I needed for the transom. I did get a great 1968 Merc 500 for $725, but your's is so "CLASSIC". :D :D

Upspirate Yes they do still have Quake on the Lake. Its over in Waterford Michigan and they put on quite a show. They also put on some of the smaller hydro and runabout races in Grass Lake , I'm looking to get into something like that. For 50$ you can go to a mini race school where they show you the details of the boats and racing then the fun part. They set you up in one of their boats for a couple of laps.

Thanks
Travis
