Well, I haven't had time to work on my Lo Voltage lately but today I was able to fit the transom and stitch it together albeit with issues...the plans for the aft bottom were almost 3/4" too wide for the transom bottom where they meet. I ended up unstitching the port and starbord bottom ends and cutting them with a Fein tool...wow was a miracle tool! Just like Butter. http://www.multimaster.info/fein-multimaster/us/en/applications/boat_renovation.html I'm not sure where the problem comes from as I ended up measuring the plans and my parts were exactly as shown. Anyway no biggie and it's done.

Glued in the P/S (Port and Starbord) forward bottoms with a bunch of screws added till the expoxy set up. I even had enough time to level the boat and get her ready for gluing the joints before filleting! Got a call from my Biaxial tape supplier and it's in and ready to pick up. Yay...10 hrs in and ready to trudge along!

I myself cannot believe that you are building that entire boat inside of a doctors office...or is that the computer white room?

Nice work. I'm also a believer in the new technology S&G. The crustaceans have got it right when it comes to strength and light weight.

Here's hoping to see the splash in the coming season.

Honestly it's amazing having a forum "family" like the one we have here with Glen-L! I love how easy going everyone is and very supportive of each other...I find myself just wandering all the other posts and learning almost everyday...especially a little sarcasm at times! Hey as long as we're building some kind of boat..it's all good!

Yep,this is a great forum....like you said,it's more of a family....a family you choose!

The members here keep things going well and portray fun with the finished product as well as the technical support aspect.....I think a very important aspect to get the "other half" on board with these projects.

The members seem to "get" the spirit of this forum and police themselves so the moderators mainly just keep the spammers out

Here's to all the family!!! :D

Well today I used some lumber I had laying around and clamped them at the aft end to secure it from moving...I then leveled it and it turns out that the mid section was also level without touching a thing. The plan instructions called for the aft end and mid section be level so that I can epoxy all the joints inside and out between the copper stitches.

Here is a close up of the epoxy glued joint between copper stitches...placed about 6-10" apart..but I was able to get away with a few spots that had 16" between.

Here is the bow...I am leaving the stitches in this area so I will bury these wires deep within the epoxy. I will be laying about 3 layers in the bow joint. I could do it in one shot but the thicker you put this stuff on the hotter the chemical epoxy reaction is and since I was leaving it for the weekend unattended, I didn't want to risk it.
