Thanks Guys. The idea is to do away with the raised box elevation that covers the motor along along with the raised coamings, and instead, just bring up the elevation of the sides of the boat and have one smooth arcing surface topside as opposed to the multiple steps in height between the coamings, motorbox, and dash area. The plan would not be to increase the beam, nor to alter any part of the frames below the water line. Attached are some quick sketches of my idea.
Below is a sketch of the transom. The black lines show the transom per design with the raised coamings and top of the motorbox. The red lines show how I'd like to modify the shape.
