I think it adds nice contrast.

BTW. I don't see any sanding marks on close inspection. So you passed test #1. Keep up the good work. :D

Just tape the mismatch fillet and paint it brown or even black if you wish. You can probably have that done for a launching party by summer.  :P

At the rate we are going, you may get by with it this summer. Since it looks like we will only have probably four weeks of it this year. Yikes..........

I took some time off from the pontoons tonight to clean up the garage some. :( But, that didn't last long. I keep looking at the little yak and I couldn't help myself. I finished sanding the coaming and put the first coat of epoxy on. :D I wish I had tinted my fillet material. Oh, well. Too late now.

Grind down the fillet some and put a coat of tinted material over it if you want it darker

Now that is something you hang in your living room for decoration rather than using it.

Thanks guys, but the camera makes it look better than it is.

Nine coats. Not me. The fourth coat looked halfway decent so I stopped there.

Dave,

No wall hanging for this little boat. The recruits have been putting the heat on me. So I had to shift my attention. They are ruthless remember. I have been getting the puppy dog eyes and worse let. Are you ready for this. The dimples. I couldn't take anymore. :( Hope to splash next weekend. :D
