I finally got a break in the weather this week and it was warm enough to measure and cut the planking for my cockpit floor. I cut the pieces in the garage and brought them into the basement to assemble and epoxy. The oak is a little heavier than plywood; but looks a lot nicer.

Today I went out and cut the side frames for my engine hatch and the pieces for the seat frame.
Another day today in the 40s. I rough cut the fore, center and aft deck pieces and set the flooring and fuel tank. Still need to epoxy and finish the cockpit floor. I set the deck pieces in place just to make it look like I actually accomplished something.
