Looks great!!! Almost looks like a race boat rather than a hunting/fishing boat!!

Man, I was thinking the same thing! Put one of those high stack mercs on the back of that thing, have someone hold down the bow until you get movin and let her rip! That is sweet! :P

Bonus! It looks like there is already a duck he can sneak up on in the front yard!

I'm making 2 of these boats. The first one goes to a guy that I work with to be used for duck hunting, the second one will be the same boat but it will be made as a sailboat. I am making both boats and he is paying for them. The boat below I helped my Dad make in 1962 when I was 10 years old. I refinished it 2 years ago.

The plans call for a dagerboard. I'm thinking I will use the mast, boom and sail from my other sailboat which is pictued above. I also have a sail from a Snark Mayflower but I will have to make a mast for that one, shouldn't take much.

Pirate's a rookie here, don't pay him much attention, he will catch up eventually. We call him the Dingy! But he is alot of fun at parties!

PS..I am not even going to admit that I don't know what a dagger board is...thought it was something you served cheese on.
